Jacob Participates In NMPA Charity Golf Event

On Tuesday, Jacob was one of many talented artists to take part in the SONGS Foundation charity golf tournament hosted by the National Music Publishers Association, the trade association representing American music publishers and their songwriting partners. Other artists in attendance included Scott Stapp, Charles Kelley and Josh Kelley.

And while we definitely love Jacob’s music, his songwriting skills just amp up the intensity even more!

Here’s the photo from Jacob’s Instagram account (@JacobDavisMusic):

Interview With Storme Warren; Jacob Introduces STRYB

At the end of September, Jacob traveled to Key West, Fla., to take part in Country On The Beach, a fundraiser for the TJ Martell Foundation for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. The event, headlined by Montgomery Gentry, also featured Darryl Worley, Ray Scott, Halfway to Hazard, LoCash, Love & Theft and David Adam Byrnes.

Storme Warren, host on SiriusXM The Highway, was the emcee of the event and caught up with Jacob to interview him, along with Preston Brust of LoCash. During the interview it was announced that Something To Remember You By was going to be a featured as a Highway Find, a very special spot in the SiriusXM The Highway’s playing rotation for new and upcoming artists. It was also the first time ever that Jacob introduced Something To Remember You By on the radio. Be ready for chills.

We’ll do more on the Country On The Beach experience later, but please enjoy Jacob’s interview with Storme as much as we did:

Something To Remember You By – Acoustic

Jacob and the guys performed an acoustic Something To Remember You By for Katelyn Carter when she was writing her blog about them (found here: https://jacobdavissquad.com/2015/10/03/wordy-words/), and Katelyn was awesome enough to share it with us.

You’re going to want to watch this over and over – just fair warning to clear some time and get into a quiet environment!

Blogger and music lover Katelyn Carter did an interview with Jacob before he played a show in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015.

Here’s what she had to say after she met with the guys, which included an acoustic performance of Jacob’s single Something To Remember You By:

Jacob Davis and his entire band were without a doubt the most pleasant and kind guys from Nashville that I’ve had the pleasure of working with in a while. If you ever have the chance to see them interact on stage, I can promise they have just as much chemistry as people off stage. They aren’t turning on a switch and performing something they don’t believe in. They believe in their music and they’re transparent. I don’t take to many artists easily but I definitely feel like Jacob and his team aren’t going away anytime soon.
